Biosensorer grænseflade med komplekse, biologiske miljøer og udføre målrettet detektion ved at kombinere meget følsomme sensorer med meget specifikke prober knyttet til sensoren via overfladebehandling. Her viser vi overflade funktionalisering af silica optiske sensorer med biotin ved hjælp af silankoblingsmidler at bygge bro over sensoren og det biologiske miljø.
