Isotachophoresis (ITP) is een robuuste elektrokinetische scheiding en preconcentratiestap techniek met toepassingen variërend van toxine detectie tot monstervoorbereiding. Wij beoordelen de fysische principes van ITP en de methodologie van het toepassen van deze techniek om twee specifieke voorbeeld toepassingen: scheiding en detectie van kleine moleculen en zuivering van nucleïnezuren uit celkweek lysaat.
