Se describe el aislamiento rápido de células primarias de murino de tipo II alveolares epiteliales (AECII) por citometría de flujo negativo de selección. Estos AECII mostrar una alta viabilidad y pureza, y son adecuados para una amplia gama de estudios funcionales y molecular respecto a su función en condiciones respiratorias tales como enfermedades autoinmunes o infecciosas.
