Blodkar inden for human skeletmuskulatur havnen flere multi-slægt precursor-populationer, der er ideelle til regenerativ applikationer. Denne isolation metode tillader samtidig oprensning af tre multipotente forstadie cellepopulationer fra henholdsvis tre strukturelle lag af blodkar: myogene endotelceller fra intima, pericytter fra medier og adventitiaceller celler fra adventitia.
