Presentamos un método detallado para estudiar la fisiología placentaria humana in vivo a término. El método combina el muestreo de sangre de los vasos entrantes y salientes en los lados materno y fetal de la placenta con medidas de ultrasonido del volumen de flujo sanguíneo y el muestreo de tejido placentario.
