Hier worden twee murine wondgenezingsmodellen beschreven, een ontworpen om cellulaire en cytokinewondgenezingsreacties te beoordelen en de andere om de snelheid van wondsluiting te kwantificeren. Deze methoden kunnen worden gebruikt met complexe ziektemodellen zoals diabetes om mechanismen van verschillende aspecten van slechte wondgenezing te bepalen.
