En metode for mikrodisseksjon av musens ovidukt som tillater innsamling av de enkelte segmentene samtidig som RNA-integriteten opprettholdes. I tillegg er ikke-enzymatisk oviductal celle dissosiasjonsprosedyre beskrevet. Metodene er egnet for påfølgende gen- og proteinanalyse av de funksjonelt forskjellige oviduktsegmentene og dissosierte oviduktceller.
