Er zijn verschillende verschillen tussen de rechter en linker ventrikels. De pathofysiologie van het rechterventrikelinfarct (RVI) is echter niet opgehelderd. In het huidige protocol wordt een reproduceerbare methode voor het genereren van RVI-muismodellen geïntroduceerd, die een middel kan bieden om het mechanisme van RVI te verklaren.
