Hier presenteren we een protocol voor het reconstitueren van microtubulibundels in vitro en het direct kwantificeren van de krachten die erin worden uitgeoefend met behulp van gelijktijdige optische vangmethoden en totale interne reflectiefluorescentiemicroscopie. Deze test maakt het mogelijk om op nanoschaal de krachten en verplaatsingen te meten die worden gegenereerd door eiwitensembles binnen actieve microtubulinetwerken.
