La mitophagie est le principal mécanisme du contrôle de la qualité mitochondriale. Cependant, l’évaluation de la mitophagie in vivo est entravée par le manque de tests quantitatifs fiables. Un protocole d’observation de la mitophagie dans les cellules vivantes est présenté ici à l’aide d’un colorant mitochondrial vert-fluorescent perméable de cellules et d’un colorant lysosome fluorescent rouge.
