We beschrijven een eenvoudige en efficiënte methode voor het isoleren van cellen van het retinale pigmentepitheel (RPE) cellen uit de ogen van jonge gepigmenteerde cavia's. Deze procedure maakt follow-up moleculair biologisch onderzoek naar de geïsoleerde RPE mogelijk, inclusief genexpressieanalyses.
