تم إنشاء نظام نضح الكبد خارج الجسم الحي (NEVLP) لكبد الفئران. يتطلب هذا النظام خبرة في الجراحة المجهرية ولكنه يسمح بنتائج نضح قابلة للتكرار. تسهل القدرة على استخدام كبد الفأر التحقيق في المسارات الجزيئية لتحديد إضافات الفوسات الجديدة وتمكن من تنفيذ التجارب التي تركز على إصلاح الأعضاء.
