In questo manoscritto, viene presentato un protocollo per eseguire la misurazione basata su FACS dell'attività trascrizionale BK-poliomavirus utilizzando cellule HEK293T trascate da un plasmide reporter bidirezionale che esprime tdTomato ed eGFP. Questo metodo permette inoltre di determinare quantitativamente l'influenza di nuovi composti sulla trascrizione virale.
