I denne procedure giver det muligt at opdage funktionelle effektive cardiotropic autoantistoffer i plasmaet hos patienter med dilateret cardiomyopati, uanset det specifikke antigen, ved at analysere virkningen af isolerede patient immunoglobulin på cellulær afkortning og intracellulært calcium transienter i isolerede rotte cardiomyocytes.
