Här presenterar vi en enkel metod för att kvantifiera hematopoetiska stamceller och stamceller celler (HSPCs) i embryonala zebrafiskar. HSPCs från dissocierade zebrafiskar är klädd i metylcellulosa med stödjande faktorer, att differentiera in mogna blodet. Detta möjliggör detektion av blod defekter och tillåter drug screening för att utföras enkelt.
