Un standard Western blotting protocollo è stato ottimizzato per analizzare come pochi come 500 ematopoietiche staminali o cellule progenitrici. Ottimizzazione comporta un'attenta manipolazione del campione cellulare, limitando i trasferimenti tra tubi e Lisi direttamente le cellule in tampone di Laemmli.
