Hier presenteren we een protocol om een nier cortex extracellulaire matrix afkomstige hydrogel te behouden van de inheemse nier extracellulaire matrix (ECM) structurele en biochemische samenstelling. Het fabricageprocédé en de toepassingen daarvan worden beschreven. Tot slot, een perspectief over het gebruik van deze hydrogel ter ondersteuning van de nier-specifieke cellulaire en weefsels regeneratie en bioengineering wordt besproken.
