Este estudo descreve o monitoramento microscópico da adesão pneumococcus às cordas do fator von Willebrand produzidas na superfície de células endotélias primárias humanas diferenciadas estresse de cisalhamento em condições de fluxo definidas. Este protocolo pode ser estendido à visualização detalhada de estruturas celulares específicas e quantificação de bactérias aplicando procedimentos diferenciais de imunocoloração.
