Målet med denne protokol er at isolere mononukleare celler, der bor i lamina propria i tyktarmen ved enzymatisk fordøjelse af vævet ved hjælp af collagenase. Denne protokol giver mulighed for effektiv isolering af mononukleare celler, hvilket resulterer i en enkelt cellesuspension, som igen kan bruges til robust immunophenotyping.
